About me
Hello! I’m Rue Isik, a Philadelphia based Turkish Illustrator/ Sculptor. I love communicating kids through my drawings and creating scenes! I like to have a touch of mystery and playful details in my art. I write/ illustrate books that pushes kids to think and explore. My art is full of animals and patterns. I work both traditional and digital. I love finding inspirations in the endless conversations and also in nature! You can find me playing volleyball or baking desserts when I don’t make art. I majored in Illustration and minored in Sculpture at University of the Arts and graduated from Moore College of Art and Design.
